We arrived in Kenya and it took us a little while to adjust to the time zone difference (10 hours different than Colorado). We hung out at the Norris' house and played with his kids for a while. It was the start of rainy season in Nairobi, so we also spent a bit of time indoors. |

Here are the before pictures of my yard. Not very exciting, LOTS of grass (to mow!) and a small patio where half the people had to sit in chairs with the back legs falling off the patio. Needless to say, lots of opportunity for better things!

So, here's what I've been up to since March!
My mom came to visit me for a week and a half in April. It was great having her here. She did lots of sewing and a little bit of scrapbooking and we just got to spend lots of time together talking and hanging out. |
